Chelsea MNF Part 2

Chelsea are wrapping up the weekends round of fixtures for the second week in a row taking part in Monday Night Football once again. They’ll certainly be hoping for a better result than the 4-1 drubbing they received at Vicarage Road at the hands of Javi Gracia’s Watford.

The fall out from last weeks match has continued in the past 7 days with the pressure being heaped on Antonio Conte. The Italian has been vocal about what he perceives as a lack of support in the transfer market despite them spending millions! Coupled with Spurs recent good form, Chelsea find themselves out of the top 4 and are looking for a win over the bottom of the league to get themselves back on track.

The Baggies find themselves firmly routed to the bottom spot and 7 points from safety with the teams around them picking up points this weekend! They will be turning to their on loan striker Daniel Sturridge (£1.21) to power them away from the drop zone, with Sturridge himself hoping to regain his place in the England squad ahead of the World Cup! It will be tough for the Alan Pardew’s men this evening but they will surely take heart from Watford’s victory last time out!

For Chelsea they will surely be turning to Index favourite, Eden Hazard (£5.32) once more and the Belgian is surely a contender for match/media dividends this evening. It will be interesting to see whether or not he is leading the line tonight or supporting new signing, Olivier Giroud (£1.83). The former Arsenal man looked a threat towards the end of the Watford game having come on late and with the continued question marks over the length of absence of Alvaro Morata (£2.64), the Blues need him to start firing!

You would expect Chelsea to dominate the ball this evening and with this, in mind, Chelsea’s defenders look a strong option for match day dividends. Have you got Cesar Azpilicueta (£1.00), Gary Cahill (£0.61) or Antonio Rüdiger (£1.33) in your portfolio?

Will Chelsea get back into the top 4?
