InSane City Rises

It was yet another stunning performance from the Champions elect last night at the Emirates as Manchester City brushed aside Arsenal once more, thanks to a five star performance from the flying German winger, Leroy Sané.

The former Schalke man has just returned from the nasty ankle injury picked up away to Cardiff in the FA Cup, but there was no finding his feet for the youngster as he scored one and assisted another in the 3-0 demolition of Arsenal last night. The speedy winger’s stock keeps on rising metaphorically and on the Football Index.

At the beginning of the season, Sané was available for £1.42 a future and as today he is £3.15. A rise since August of well over 100%! Throw in a certain event taking place in Russia in the summer and how much further could his stock rise?

The City number 19 is by no means the only City star rising in value after their stunning season so far. Over in the opposite flank, Pep Guardiola appears to have transformed Raheem Sterling this season. Despite being injured yesterday, the former Liverpool man has hit 15 goals and 6 assists in the Premier League this season. He hasn’t just been a must for your Fantasy League team though as his futures value has also risen by over 100%. Sterling was available for as low as £1.59 at the beginning of the season and is currently trading at £3.70!

There have of course been huge rises for the defensive linchpins for City with Nicolas Otamendi trading at £2.41 having been available for £1.57 in October and it’s a similar story with John Stones. The Englishman is trading at £1.95 having been available at 77p at the beginning of the season.

There have been some huge City rises on the Index owing to their fantastic performances which have enticed traders with match day dividends aplenty. Are you on board the City price rises?
