It was a day to remember for PSG both in the Champions League and on the Football Index as they absolutely steamrolled their way past Anderlecht with a 5-0 thrashing.
Although Bayern scrapped through with a 2-1 away win over Celtic, PSG have the initiative in group B at the moment and it was a full line up for the French giants in terms of dividend victories for the Performance Buzz! In what was a very closely caught contest, the world’s most expensive player, Neymar, was able to just edge his way to both the attacking dividend and overall best player on the night. His score of 205 points was impressive considering he only had one goal and one assist and he was also subject of a 10p increase; pushing him back over the £6.00 mark in the process!
Neymar’s Brazilian compatriot, Dani Alves, tan up an impressive total of 201 points and although he just missed out on the overall best dividend, he was best defender on the night. It was a similar case for Marco Verratti (£1.87) who managed a PB score of 192 points; the Italians score was supplemented by his goal which was the opening strike of the match. In terms of percentage increases, it was a great evening for the PSG players as both Alves and Verratti saw substantial gains, with both men increasing in value by 9.42% and 8.18% respectively.
For a moment let’s just imagine if Layvin Kurzawa (895th in the squad) had been available to purchase last night; his price would have gone through the roof! The French defender bagged a surprise hat-trick during the match outdoing all of the attacking might PSG have to offer.
Focusing on the English clubs for a moment and Anthony Martial’s (£2.27) missed penalty against Benfica was enough to make him the Media Buzz winner. Although Martial missed his penalty in the first half, United were still able to overcome he Portuguese side thanks to an own goal and a penalty which was converted by Daley Blind (465th in the squad).
Meanwhile it was a day to forget for Chelsea as they succumbed to a heavy 3-0 loss to an impressive looking aroma side. Stephan El Shaarawy (225th in the squad) bagged himself a brace and he could be one to keep an eye on during the new November introductions of brand new players to the Index first team!
With further Champions League action this evening it looks as though there’s going to be plenty more to shout about. With Liverpool taking on Maribor at home (who they smashed 7-0 in their last visit), it’s likely that we could see some developments across many of Liverpool’s top talent tonight; so watch the Reds carefully! Meanwhile, there will be Europa League action taking place tomorrow and one player who seems to be looking good at the moment is Leonardo Bonucci (82p). The Italian defender has performed brilliantly in the PB when it comes to Thursday nights and he’s increased in value by 14% recently. As such, it looks like traders are already making the necessary preparations in order to maximise those potential profits!
