Spurs to Close the Gap on the Top 4?

It has been some festive period with game after game and goal after goal, but just as we all begin to start thinking about putting the Christmas decorations away again for a year, there is one final Premier League game to get stuck into!

The beauty is that it is a London Derby to boot as Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs welcome David Moyes’s West Ham to Wembley. It’s a crucial game at both ends of the table as Spurs look to close the gap to the top 4 and West Ham look to move further away from the relegation zone.

The Tottenham manager will be hoping that his in form hitman Harry Kane (£7.54) will be fully recovered from his illness so that he can start this evenings fixture (as will countless Fantasy League Managers, in this double game week!.) The Englishman has plundered a hat-trick apiece in his last two starts and all eyes will be on whether or not Kane can get his 2018 off to a flyer having led the way in 2017!

Over in East London the Hammers have had somewhat of a resurgence since David Moyes was employed and a last gasp winner against West Brom by Andy Carroll (£0.77) on Tuesday in the 2-1 victory is sure to have boosted the morale of the entire squad further ahead of tonight’s game. One of the players who looks transformed under Moyes’ management is Austrian Marko Arnautovic (£1.00) who has 4 goals and an assist from his last 5 games, will he continue his fine form at Wembley tonight?

As tonight’s match up is the only fixture taking place across the top 5 leagues it makes today a single game day meaning that there are 14p of Match Day Dividends up for grabs this evening. So who would some of the candidates for dividends be?

A lot will depend on lineups with this fixture only 48 hours after each team last played but Spurs full backs, Kieran Trippier (£0.80) and Ben Davies (£0.87) look like strong defensive candidates, whilst in the middle of the park the creative Manuel Lanzini (£1.19) and Christian Eriksen (£2.06) are always an attractive option should they get on the ball and dominate. Then for the forwards it will be interesting to see who starts for the Hammers up front, will Javier Hernandez (£0.69) get a run out and for Spurs it’s all about Harry Kane (£7.54).

Who do you think will win the Match Day Dividends tonight?
