LET THE GAINS BEGIN!

If you haven’t heard by now things are going great at the Football Index and yesterday saw another epic day of investment from all angles.

When looking at the price increases over 24 hours, the actual volume of players who have jumped up by significant values makes for very impressive reading and with the Index closing 185.47 points up yesterday, it seems that traders are making the most of the brilliant 10% bonus on offer at the moment! Make sure you make the most of this offer while it lasts; if you haven’t already keep in mind it will finish on the 28th April at midnight!

The first indication of just how well the market is doing at the moment is the fact that we now have seven players valued over £5.00. This is unheard of territory! It was Dele Alli (£5.10) and Romelu Lukaku (£5.01) who made the biggest leaps from this group; with both players increasing by over 10%. But we also had two of the Index’s other heavyweights get involved in the action. Alexis Sanchez crept past the £5.00 threshold and buzz favourite Paul Pogba (£4.46) is now knocking on the door having shot up by 7.64%.

Wherever you looked on the Index yesterday there was a sea of green and it was two of Europes most sought after strikers who made some of the biggest gains. Torino’s Andrea Belotti saw a whopping increase of 33.65% after the news broke that he is ready to quit Torino. His words seem to have put the world’s super clubs on red alert and his new price tag of £2.33 could easily jump again if a concrete offer comes in. Alvaro Morata (£2.44) was another man on the up. The Spaniard has supposedly found himself a nice little house in London to live in next year; I guess that’s a hint? Whether he’s actually bought a house or not, it doesn’t really matter just yet; there’s certainly no smoke without fire and there appears to be quite a lot of smoke coming from Morata’s camp at the moment!

A quick word on Anthony Martial who saw a slight dip yesterday following the rumours of a loan move to Lyon. While things can definitely change quickly in football, this one just doesn’t seem to have legs… yet. Man United have committed a massive fee to Martial and he’s still young, as well as showing obvious potential. It may be worth seeing how he does over the remainder of the season before pressing the panic button just yet!

While the list of players making gains yesterday was as long as Peter Crouch’s legs, Wilfred Zaha (£1.66) and Bernardo Silva (£1.56) were two wingers that really felt the full force of investor confidence. Both players made the top 5 in terms of risers on the market for yesterday and it’s little wonder really. Zaha has already caught the eye this season with some wicked performances on Palace’s wings and Tottenham seem to be the team most likely to make an offer. While the news also broke yesterday that Bernardo Silva is in advanced talks with Man United over a proposed £42.5m move!

As we’ve mentioned previously, it is worthwhile keeping a close eye on each of those transfer rumours that continue to trickle in. It seems that the press is well and truly cranking up the speculation and if you’re able to get on board early doors, we’ve seen that there are some unbelievable profits which can be made!
