Jupp Heynckes and his Bayern Munich side travel to the Bernabeu this evening to take on Zinedine Zidane’s and his Real Madrid in the decisive second leg of their Champions League semi-final encounter having lost the first battle 2-1. Crucially for Los Blancos the two away goals secured in the Allianz Arena afford them a degree of comfort but even with three away goals in the quarter-finals with Juventus, Real just managed to squeak through thanks to a late controversial penalty by Cristiano Ronaldo (£8.71) in a 3-1 victory. Bayern will be looking to replicate the Bianconieri and secure their passage to Kiev.

In the world of Football INDEX, tonight is a rare event with the semi-final being the only eligible match on this a treble day payout. So who are the main match day rankings candidates going for the £0.12 position dividends and £0.06 star player dividends on this treble match day?

As you would expect both sides in a Champions League semifinal are stacked full of talent wherever you look. Madrid will be looking to former Bayern man Toni Kroos (£3.07) to win the midfield battle versus Index favourite and former Barcelona man Thiago Alcantara (£2.49) to ensure control of possession.

Bayern’s goal scorer in the first leg was the attacking right back Joshua Kimmich (£2.32) who is enhancing his talents with every stunning performance. Whilst on the opposite flank for Los Blancos is, of course, left back Marcelo (£2.04) meaning that the German and Brazilian will be going directly up against one another this evening.

Now up front we will see a battle between Mr Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo (£8.71) who has a staggering 15 goals in this seasons Champions League to date. Whilst the Bavarians will be hoping that their Polish talisman, Robert Lewandowski (£3.32) can be the best striker in Madrid this evening, even if it boosts his transfer links to the Bernabeu.

Finally, a returning James Rodriguez (£3.37) will be hoping to punish his current parent club by propelling his loan club Bayern Munich to the final in Kiev.

Lots of battles all over the pitch, who are your picks for those treble dividends?
