Tomorrow’s early kick-off is a huge game in North London as arch-rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur do battle at Wembley in a game that is worth far more than just bragging rights.
Both North London teams have their eyes on the Champions League places, as they are both sitting outside the Top 4. For Mauricio Pochettino’s men, they know victory will leapfrog them above both Chelsea and Liverpool into third place whilst critically opening a gap up of 5 points for the Gunners to qualify for Europe’s Premier competition. This is the concern for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal fans as should Chelsea and Liverpool win at the weekend, the gap could be as large as 8 points! A lot more than bragging rights on offer!
The fixture will undoubtedly be a great opportunity for neutrals to see how Arsenal’s new striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£3.40) fares against Spurs centurion Harry Kane (£7.80) as two of the Premier League’s, if not the worlds, strikers do battle! With the fixture being an early kick off a goal for either Kane or Aubameyang will be a strong contender for media dividends!
It’s not all about the strikers though with Arsenal looking for hat-trick hero, Aaron Ramsey (£1.26) and new signing Henrik Mkhitaryan (£2.45) to shine like they did in last weekends thrashing of Everton. Whilst for Spurs, they will be looking for Danish superstar Christian Eriksen (£2.15) and Dele Alli (£3.65), whose dive last weekend attracted plenty of headlines, to deliver a crushing blow on Arsenal’s season!
A huge game but who wins it?
