Juventus now have a ridiculous 18-point lead at the top of Serie A, but it may surprise some to note that many of their 75 points have been amassed without having played extraordinarily well. Last Friday, a hugely rotated lineup beat Udinese by a 4-1 scoreline, and there was one stand-in player who impressed in particular.

Moise Kean (£3.75)

It can’t be easy to replace Cristiano Ronaldo (£7.00) in a so-far unbeaten team in the league, yet 19-year-old Moise Kean stole the show versus Udinese. The youngster fired in a brace in the aforementioned 4-1 victory, demonstrating to boss Max Allegri that he is worthy of a more regular place in the side.

Before Friday’s encounter, Kean had made just two substitute appearances in domestic action this season, but the striker is certainly one to look out for as his rise to prominence continues.

Stephan El Shaarawy (£1.54)

New AS Roma boss Claudio Ranieri emerged from his first match versus Empoli with a win on Monday evening, and he will certainly have been impressed by winger Stephan El Shaarawy. Deployed on the left-hand side of the front three in a 4-2-3-1, the Italian international fired in the opening goal as statistics according to Whoscored.com showed he also completed 88.3% of 33 passes attempted.

He would add another shot on target as the match progressed, as well as creating a clear-cut chance for his team-mates.

Roberto Gagliardini (£0.88)

Here is another player who has struggled for playing minutes this term, and just like Kean before him, Roberto Gagliardini shone when given the chance in the Inter starting XI. During a hard-fought 2-1 victory over SPAL, the 24-year-old midfielder completed 90% of 50 passes and scored a crucial goal from four total shots during the 90 minutes.

Nikola Milenkovic (£1.74)

Fiorentina could have been several goals behind opponents Lazio after the first half of action on Sunday evening if it weren’t for some desperate defending and some excellent saves from stand-in goalkeeper Pietro Terracciano. Of the entire backline, it was 21-year-old Nikola Milenkovic who impressed the most on the night, keeping the scoreline at 1-0 at half-time and proving exactly why the likes of Manchester United have sent scouts to watch him this season.

Roberto Soriano (£0.71)

Bologna have much work to do if they want to escape relegation, but new boss Sinisa Mihajlovic took a huge step forward with a 2-0 win over fellow strugglers Cagliari at the weekend. The Rossoblu have been struggling to score goals all season, but last weekend forward Roberto Soriano made the difference with a crucial goal, his first in eight appearances so far this term.
